Uncle Funky’s Daughter

Standard

New staple product of the month. Lets see how long this lasts. I am diggin Uncle Funky’s Daughter products at moment, especially the Extra Butter and Supercurl moisturizer. After a year or so of Shea Moisture Leave-in, my hair more or less stopped responding and I was left with parched tresses.

I purchased Uncle Funky’s Daughter last month and began using it for braidouts. Anywhere from two to four braids is all I need at night. The next morning when I pull the braids out there is a lovely hold, a bit of shine and absolutely no frizz.

Unfortunately the products don’t seem to work all that great on my hair when it is wet (seems greasy) so I still revert to my Shea Moisture (also Mixed Roots Curl Pudding) when fresh out of the shower wet and racing to work. But on my wild, frizzy and unruly hair when dry Uncle Funky’s Daughter has done da thang for dry braidouts.
